Salonify ("we", "our", or "us") operates the salonify.eu platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.
2. Information We Collect
Personal Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Name and email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Profile photo (optional)
Booking & Purchase Information
When you make a booking or purchase, we collect:
- Service selection and preferences
- Appointment date and time
- Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never store full card numbers)
- Membership subscriptions, gift cards, loyalty points and Salonify balance linked to your account
- Order history (marketplace purchases and gift cards)
Business Information
For business accounts, we additionally collect:
- Business name and address
- Business registration documents
- Service offerings and pricing
- Staff information
3. Mobile App
When you use the Salonify mobile app, we may additionally process — always with your permission where the operating system requires it:
- Location: approximate device location to show salons near you. You can always search by city instead — location access is optional.
- Push notifications: a device push token to send booking confirmations, reminders and updates. You can disable notifications at any time in the system settings.
- Camera / photo library: only when you choose to set a profile photo.
- App language & settings: to display the app in your preferred language.
The app does not track you across other companies' apps or websites and uses no third-party advertising SDKs.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain our service
- Process bookings and payments
- Send booking confirmations and reminders
- Improve our platform and user experience
- Communicate important updates
5. Data Sharing
We share your information only as necessary to provide our services:
- With businesses: Your name and contact details when you make a booking
- With payment processors: Stripe processes payments securely
- Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication, and regular security audits.
7. Your Rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data — or delete your account yourself directly in the app (see below)
- Object to data processing
- Data portability
8. Account & Data Deletion
You can delete your Salonify account at any time, directly in the app:
- In the mobile app: Profile → Settings → Account → Delete account
- By email: [email protected]
Deleting your account permanently removes access to your profile, booking history, memberships, loyalty points and Salonify balance. We may retain limited records where required by law (e.g. invoices for tax purposes); these are deleted once the statutory retention periods expire.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies without your consent.
